CANADIAN CONSUMERS BEWARE - Aldo is using UPS to ship to you, which hands off packages to Canada Post once they arrive in our country. This is resulting in HUGE delays in getting your items. I ordered a pair of sandals on May 20th that have not yet left their facility, and it is June 16. From there it gets worse - Canada Post tells me there is at least a 5-6 week delay in getting orders out once they get them. So my sandals will likely not arrive at my house until August. I asked Aldo for a refund given all of this, and they refused. Yes, the delays are due to COVID, but Aldo has a duty to be honest with its consumers and tell them that there will be a massive delay in getting items out to you. Their website only says "some delays" in shipping are happening - that is not honest at all. It's more like you order something and get it 2.5 months later.

I have a gift card for 100$ which I'd like to use and ALDO doesn't allow the use of gift cards online even though we have COVID-19 at the moment. So they told me that I'll be able to use my gift card only in stores when stores open (which won't be anytime soon) and even when stores open, customers still won't go to the stores, for their safety. Not allowing customers to use their gift cards online is so that they make sure we don't use them ever (they've already been paid for the gift cards anyway so why bother)... Very disappointing, given that the majority of other clothing/shoes stores have updated their policies to accommodate customers during the pandemic... I'll NEVER buy a gift card from ALDO again as a gift to my friends.

After sell service

I purchased Aldo shoes in May and within a day the shoes strap came off. I immediately contacted Aldo for a refund. The shoes was returned and initial refund email confirmation received on 1st June. Aldo then confirmed my card details and and it was all set up for a full refund. After few days, banking department wanted to confirm my card details and wanted to call. After 6 days of waiting I was informed that someone will call and still no calls received. The customer service keeps changing responses and no outcome of my refund. This is such a bad customer service - first the product was bad and now I have to face such bad customer service. For just $60+ I had to chase 7-8 times.

Sandals colour bled and ruin my carpet

Don't get them, they're cute but they got slightly wet as shoes do and the brown held onto my feet and it ruined my new carpet. They were given to me as a gift and I don't have a receipt so I can't return them. I contacted Aldo to let them know but they won't do anything about it without the proof of transaction. Huge disappointment for a $67.00 item, this is the quality you can expect from this company now.

If I could I would give 0 star. This shop is such a mess. I ordered tote bag 21st of April. Staff said that it will be send within 7 days. It wasn't. Meantime lots of messages send to them, phone calls which was ignored like messages. Got an email after exactly one month after buying my items that they cancelled my order. No message back, nothing. Just cancelled my order. I've never seen such a rude customer service. Never had problem with Aldo before. But they really disappointed to me and I won't buy anything else from them. I DO NOT RECCOMEND!

Fake discount code and unhelpful customer service

Wanted to make an order so I signed up to get the members 15% off discount. The discount code did not work. I tried their 'live chat' which is not actually a live chat but just automated responses directing to places that do not have to do with my issue. I emailed them for help and I got a repsonse saying to call or try the chat and they will apply the code for me. As I said, the live chat was automated messages and no help, and when I called the number there was just beeping noises. There is also no place to cancel your membership online, you have to contact customer service. Lots of hassle, I should have read these reviews first as clearly this company is not the best.

The Soho Aldo store on Broadway is the bomb!

So I went in this Aldo's and met a lovely Asian manager named Kelly who treated me better than the salespeople at Gucci. So much so that i brought my family back just on the strength of Kelly and they bought a few shoes and purses. Great service, Awesome merchandise and hospitality. Love her! I will always stop in that location if i am ever in Soho moving forward. I travel from Connecticut to shop in NY.

Aldo's sneakers falling apart on first use

Bought ALDO's expensive RPPL sneakers, they started falling apart on the first wear. What is worse, their customer service has been stalling me for years, promising a refund that never comes. We have exchanged about 50 emails, Facebook messages etc. (with Mr. Wesley Barrett and others) and nothing. Is this a scam or a real company?

No refund after 10 weeks

No refund after 10 weeks. Order received at aldo on 19th jan.
I got this message:
Dear Customer

Aldo Group UK went into administration 1 July 2020….My company purchased ALDO UK franchise and took over 18.01.2021 we are a brand new franchise holder with our own systems, warehouse ordering the works. Unfortunately, customers whom purchased prior to 18.01.2021 such as yourself and need to return or refund goods have to be directed towards the old company as we cannot assist you. We have no order history, details, or way of refunding you as your order was not placed with us.

Aldo Group will help you and sort out your return/ refund …I have asked them to reach out to you and they usually do so in 72 hrs

Worst company horrible customer service

I ordered shoes two months ago till waiting on it and no help from customer service and have to suffer my mistake i shope with aldo plz plz give me my money back i learn the lesson never shop in future from aldo

Aldo UNHELP

There's should be an option to leave no stars. Horrific and ongoing situation where they refused to cancel an item I ordered (I cancelled within 10mins) and despite cancelling within their terms they found the next 8 days arguing the toss with me do they can dispatch the item. Its absolutely awful.
TIP: DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM ALDO ONLINE.

The worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life !!
There shoes are over priced for the quality!!!
3 pairs had to be returned
And trying to get your refund is a nightmare!!!!
Never will I order from them again

Disappointed Customer

I had Stopped by my favorite shoe store Aldo Cross Creek Mall,to purchase a black side purse, the young lady at the register was on her phone and she stayed on the phone the entire time and had me waiting in line at the register for 10 mins, while she went back in the back to finish her conversation. She had very poor customer service skills,she cost the store a sell, I did not purchase the bag at all. Very Disappointed in Aldo

WORST SERVICE AND EMPLOYES EVER!

I bought a pair of winter boots and trusted the recommendations of the woman working there. Not only she mistaken me about the material but didn't assume responsibility for her mistake. When I wanted my money back as they let rain/water in they just said no and told be I should read the label. The employe did and lied. Do not buy there.
